Although hospital officials did not say they were considering a partnership with each other, other sources said they are, according to the report.

Yale-New Haven Hospital already partners with Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital and Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital.

Geralyn Johnson-Reis, spokeswoman for St. Raphael’s, said regardless of a partnership, the hospital would continue to serve older adults and the poor and maintain its Catholic identity.
