Chris Thomas, president and CEO of Community Hospital, said joining Centura would allow the hospital to relieve debt, implement a new EHR or gain funding for new service lines.
“We want to make sure there’s a Community Hospital in our community for years to come,” said Mr. Thomas.
Under the formal agreement, Community Hospital and Centura will explore what a partnership would look like and finalize an agreement within 120 days.
