CEO of Colorado’s St. Anthony Central Hospital Resigns

Peter Makowski, president and CEO of Centura Health’s St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, Colo., has resigned, according to a Denver Business Journal report.

Mr. Makowski comes amid a change to the organizational structure at Centura Health’s Mountains North Denver Operating Group, the division that oversees four hospitals including St. Anthony Central, according to the report.

Centura Health named Raymond Mencini, MD, as interim president and CEO. Dr. Mencini, a radiologist, is president of the hospital medical staff and sits on the board of trustees.

Mr. Makowski has been with St. Anthony Central since 2007.
