Sale Considered of Colorado Springs Hospital

Memorial Health System in Colorado Springs, Colo., may potentially be offered for sale, according to a report by KKTV.

City council members and hospital leaders recently met to discuss a possible sale of the public hospital, which lost nearly $32 million in 2008, according to the report.

A committee of community leaders will evaluate a possible sale and will report its finding to the council in six to nine months, according to the report.

Estimates suggest that a sale of the hospital could bring between $250 million and $400 million, according to the report.
