Cole Memorial Hospital, U of Rochester cancer centers to partner

The Patterson Cancer Center at Coudersport, Pa.-based Cole Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center’s Wilmot Cancer Institute divulged plans to collaborate on an initiative to enhance cancer care to communities in northern Pennsylvania, according to the Westfield Free Press-Courier.

The two facilities will work together to provide hematology and medical oncology physician services at the Patterson Cancer Center.

The collaboration will provide patients with access to additional providers and more clinical services, including precision diagnostics, clinical trials and survivorship care, according to the article.
