Clark Regional Medical Center, a 79-bed community hospital in Winchester, Ky., joined the Lexington-based University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network Aug. 22, UKNow reports.
As part of the affiliation, Clark Regional will gain access to additional specialty and subspecialty care initiatives provided by the network, including clinical trials.
Created in 2006, the UK Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network comprises 17 hospitals and health facilities across Kentucky.
