CHS to sell 3 Tennessee hospitals

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems signed a definitive agreement to sell three of its assets in Tennessee to Jackson-based West Tennessee Healthcare, the 127-hospital system announced March 27.

The three hospitals are:

  • 225-bed Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional
  • 152-bed Tennova Healthcare-Regional Jackson
  • 100-bed Tennova Healthcare-Volunteer Martin

CHS officials expect to close the transaction during the second quarter of 2018, subject to customary regulatory approval and closing conditions.
