CHS subsidiary buys multiple Arizona urgent care centers

Northwest Urgent Care has wrapped the acquisition of specific urgent care centers in Arizona that are owned and run by Oakland, Calif.-based Carbon Health.

Northwest Urgent Care is part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health System’s Tucson, Ariz.-based Northwest Healthcare.

Following the acquisition, Northwest Healthcare now comprises more than 80 care sites, according to a Dec. 2 news release. 

In the last five years, Northwest Healthcare has invested around $200 million in growth and capital projects across the greater Tucson metro area, along with two new hospitals, Tucson-based Northwest Medical Center Houghton and Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita (Ariz.).
