The health system is scheduled to be sold to Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services on Aug. 5 for $69.8 million, unless any other bidders come forward. While CHS has not officially filed a proposal to acquire Forum, Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray said earlier this week that CHS had voiced interest in a deal.

Three-hospital forum filed for bankruptcy in March 2009.
