Under the agreement, pediatric physicians at Nemours will work with inpatient physicians on high-risk deliveries at PMMC and provide consultations to physicians in the medical center’s emergency department. PMMC is owned by Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
PMMC physicians will also have access to Nemours physicians via telemedicine initiatives, along with access to Nemours Kids Transport, an emergency transport system designed to safely transport children to the facility in Wilmington, according to the article.
