The announcement comes after Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray’s office approved the proposed transaction on Monday. Forum currently operates Northside, Hillside and Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio, as well as other health care services, and has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy since March 2009, according to the report.
The purchase price is $120 million and CHS has pledged a minimum of $80 million to renovate the three hospital facilities, according to the report.
