The two organizations have been discussing a collaboration for more than a year. The new arrangement will operate out of The Christ Outpatient Center in Fort Wright, Ky.

The Markey Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center.

Leaders from both systems will provide additional details on the collaboration during a “special announcement” this Thursday at The Christ Hospital Outpatient Center.

Correction: An earlier version of this story mistakenly stated Christ Hospital and the Markey Cancer Center were teaming up to open a new facility. The two entities are working together on patient care but are not working out of a joint facility. We regret this error.
