Under the Visiting Physician Program, nine licensed CHOP specialists will work with Emirati clinicians to evaluate and treat pediatric patients.
The agreement expands on CHOP’s long-standing alliance with the UAE. In January, CHOP signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital in Dubai to collaborate on a telemedicine-based neurology outreach program, among other joint initiatives during the last several years.
“We are honored to formalize CHOP’s relationship with the UAE,” said CHOP President and CEO Madeline Bell, RN. “Our ability to offer expert care for the country’s most medically complex children underscores our mission of creating breakthroughs for children around the world.”
