The affiliation includes Westview Hospital, which is an osteopathic hospital, and Westview’s physician network and sports club. The partnership is designed to improve access to healthcare services.
Westview will benefit from expanded clinical services, increased access to capital, collaborative payor negotiations and physician and employee recruitment opportunities, according to the release. Community will benefit from expanded presence in the region.
Under the agreement, Community Health Network will be the parent company of Westview, which will be a separately incorporated non-profit and will retain local governance and staff.
