Dr. Kenneth Kashkin Named President, CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives’ Institute for Research and Innovation

Kenneth Kashkin, MD, a healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience in global research, biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, has been named president and CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives’ Institute for Research and Innovation, according to a CHI news release.

In this role, Dr. Kashkin will oversee all research and development initiatives for the institute, which encompasses the Center for Clinical Trials, the Center for Healthcare Innovation and the Center for Translational Research. Dr. Kashkin most recently served as vice president of research and development for intravenous therapies at Baxter Healthcare, based in Deerfield, Ill. He will begin work on July 25.
