Carter Validus REIT Buys Vibra New Bedford Hospital

Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT, a real estate investment trust based in Tampa, Fla., has purchased Vibra New Bedford (Mass.) Hospital for $26.1 million from Vibra Healthcare in Mechanicsburg, Pa., according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.

The REIT’s operating partnership, Carter/Validus Operating Partnership, reported the deal in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
