As part of the deal, officials opted to close one of the private practice’s facilities — the Town Center Clinic in Big Sky — and instead opened a 51,625-square-foot hospital less than half a mile from the previous facility.

The private practice, part of the Big Sky Resort, is the only medical clinic serving the mountain, the report states.

Jeff Daniels, MD, who founded the practice in 1994, will join Bozeman Health as part of the transition and continue seeing patients at the clinic’s mountainside location.
