Baptist Health, Ocean Reef Center Expand Partnership

Coral Gables, Fla.-based Baptist Health South Florida and The Medical Center at Ocean Reef in Key Largo, Fla., have entered into an agreement for Baptist to provide support services to Ocean Reef.

The new agreement builds on an existing decades-old relationship between Baptist Health and Ocean Reef, according to a news release. Eric Wenke will serve as COO of Ocean Reef and assistant vice president of Baptist Health. Mr. Wenke will be based at Ocean Reef and support its daily operations, as well as spearheading the development of Baptist initiatives concerning executive health and destination cosmetic surgery.

“Our organizations share a culture of quality,” said Brian Keeley, Baptist Health president and CEO. “With Baptist Health’s commitment to providing high-tech, high-touch care, Ocean Reef residents, and employees and their families, will continue to receive the best care.”
