1. HCA could soon own 53 hospitals in Texas
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare is looking to expand its Gulf Coast Division with the addition of North Cypress Medical Center in Houston.
2. Cone Health, Randolph Health merger is off
Randolph Health, a 145-bed facility in Asheboro, N.C., and Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health no longer plan to merge.
3. CHS divests 3 Tennessee hospitals
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems sold three hospitals in Tennessee to Jackson-based West Tennessee Healthcare on June 1.
