1. Dignity Health, CHI ink agreement to explore further alignment
San Francisco-based Dignity Health and Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives signed a nonbinding agreement to explore aligning their organizations.

2. HCA inks $750M deal to sell Oklahoma hospitals
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA entered into an agreement to transfer ownership of its Oklahoma hospitals to an affiliate of University Hospitals Authority and Trust in Oklahoma City. 

3. Shuttered NC hospital accepts Duke LifePoint’s proposal
After a seven-year effort to increase patient volumes, Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health closed Franklin Medical Center in Louisburg, N.C., last October. However, the hospital may reopen by next summer.
