The financially struggling hospital closed its transitional care unit and occupation health programs last year to reduce costs. The hospital also replaced its defined benefit pension plan with a 403(b) retirement plan, citing the pension’s $80 million commitment, which impeded the hospital’s ability to regain financial stability, according to the report.

The status or conditions of the affiliation were not disclosed.
