While the agreement awaits approval from the New York State Health Department, Arnot Ogden will manage St. Joseph’s operations under an interim agreement.
After the merger is finalized, a new parent corporation with a single board of directors will oversee the newly formed regional system. The board will be comprised of representatives from St. Joseph’s, Arnot and Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath, N.Y. Ira Davenport merged with Arnot last January.
