Noblesville, Ind.-based Riverview Health and Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health finalized a managed services agreement on Nov. 11 to enhance Riverview’s care commitment in Hamilton County, Ind.
Under the partnership, the two parties will work to expand service access, support clinical excellence and enhance operational efficiencies, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. Riverview will also have access to Parkview’s healthcare management, innovation and system integration expertise but will maintain its independence, identity and local presence.
“Riverview Health is made up of an incredible team of caregivers, and we’ve enjoyed learning about their impactful work,” Greg Johnson, DO, chief physician executive of growth and emerging markets for Parkview Health, said in the release. “This is an exciting day, and we look forward to continuing our work together to best serve the community’s health needs and collaborating to explore new growth opportunities.”
Riverview Health is an independent, community-based health system that comprises a 156-bed hospital in Noblesville, a 16-bed hospital in Westfield, Ind., three combined emergency room and urgent care facilities and 10 primary care locations.
Parkview Health is a nonprofit, community-based health system that comprises 15 hospitals and around 17,500 employees.
