1. Ohio Valley Health Services Ends Negotiations With CHS
Wheeling, W.Va.-based Ohio Valley Health Services and Education Corp., the parent company of Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, W.Va., and East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio, ended partnership talks with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

2. Harrison Medical Center Narrows Potential Partners to Three
Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., narrowed its list of potential partners to three non-profit hospital systems.  

3. Maine Will Not Review Mid Coast Hospital, Parkview Adventist Medical Center Merger

Brunswick, Maine-based Mid Coast Hospital’s application to acquire Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Brunswick is “not subject to review” by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services’ Licensing and Regulatory Services division.

4. Southern Maine Medical Center, Goodall Hospital to Form New Parent Company Under MaineHealth
Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford and Goodall Hospital in Sanford, Maine, announced the formation of a new parent company, Southern Maine Health Care, to be the York County member of MaineHealth System in Portland.  

5. Prime Healthcare Completes Purchase of Lower Bucks Hospital in Pennsylvania
Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare completed the purchase of Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pa.  

6. Teton Valley Health Care in Idaho to Convert From County-Owned to Non-Profit
Driggs, Idaho-based Teton Valley Health Care will officially convert from a county-owned entity to a non-profit organization after the board of county commissioners unanimously voted for the measure.  

7. Audrain Medical Center Has 8 Potential Partners for Affiliation
Eight healthcare systems are interested in affiliating with Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Mo.

8. South Jersey Healthcare, Underwood-Memorial Merger Receives Attorney General Approval
Vineland, N.J.-based South Jersey Healthcare received state approval to merge with Woodbury, N.Y.-based Underwood-Memorial Hospital.  

9. Southampton Hospital May Join Stony Brook Medicine

Stony Brook (N.Y.) Medicine and Southampton (N.Y.) Hospital signed a non-binding letter of intent for Southampton Hospital to join Stony Brook Medicine and provide care under Stony Brook University Hospital’s operating license.  

10. Prime Healthcare Signs Deal With Landmark Medical Center
Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., signed an asset purchase agreement with Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services.
