The acquisition is intended to expand McLaren’s reach into a new region, according to the release.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition by McLaren comes on the heels of two other recent hospital acquisitions by the system. McLaren acquired what is now Mount Clemens (Mich.) Regional Medical Center in 2006 and POH Regional Medical Center in 2007.
