Oakland, Calif.-based Alameda Health System officially assumed ownership of San Leandro (Calif.) Hospital from Sutter Health in Sacramento, Calif.

Appalachian Regional Healthcare, based in Lexington, Ky., plans to close Williamson (W.Va.) Memorial Hospital after acquiring it.

Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital has been selected to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network, the first Colorado provider to be included.

Baptist Health in Little Rock, Ark., and Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern, Ark., entered into a long-term lease agreement, effective Jan. 1, 2014.
