3. The hospital has 411 beds. 

4. The hospital has 1,810 total employees.  

5. In 2011, the hospital performed 4,600 inpatient surgeries, 5,600 outpatient surgeries and 2,200 births, and had 41,400 outpatient visits, 19,500 non-admitted emergency department visits and 14,800 admitted emergency department visits, according to the American Hospital Directory. 

6. In 2011, the hospital recorded $1.1 billion in gross charges and $10.5 million in net income, according to the American Hospital Directory. 

7. In 2013, the hospital received a Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades.

8. The hospital was founded in 1955. Since 1999, the hospital has been a member of Dignity Health.

9. Thanks to a successful disaster preparation plan, the hospital was able to stay open during the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, and treated over 1,000 patients in the 48 hours following the earthquake.  

10. The television show "Doogie Howser, MD" was filmed at the hospital.
