3. The hospital has 90 beds.

4. The hospital has 477 total employees.  

5. In 2011, the hospital performed 900 inpatient surgeries, 4,500 outpatient surgeries, 200 births, 23,100 outpatient visits and had 15,000 non-admitted emergency room visits and 2,700 admitted emergency room visits.  

6. In 2011, the hospital recorded $161.2 million in gross charges and $4.2 million in net income, according to the American Hospital Directory.

7. The hospital received a Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2013.  

8. Marshall Medical Center North was built in 1990. Marshall Health System was created in 1997, consisting of Marshall Medical Center North and Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz, Ala.      

9. Marshall Medical Center North has four emergency helicopter transports, and the 22,000-square-foot outpatient rehabilitation and fitness center has a 75-foot lap pool.      

10. The Foundation for the Marshall Medical Centers supports a variety of patient assistance and youth development programs at the hospital including a mammography assistance program and a youth art contest.
