The individuals will fill positions across six departments within the medical school, including:
- 21 faculty members in the emergency medicine department
- Thee faculty members in medicine
- One faculty member in neurology
- One faculty member in pediatrics
- One faculty member in psychiatry
- Two faculty members in surgery
The medical school will also transfer all classes to a new building on the university’s Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in downtown Buffalo, N.Y., in January 2018. Officials expect to finish construction on the building this fall.
