University Hospitals Acquires 5 Physician Practices in Ohio

Cleveland-based University Hospitals has purchased five physician practices in the Akron, Ohio, area, according to an Akron Beacon Journal report.

The deal adds 21 physicians to the health system’s physician practice network. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The five joining practices include:

  • Children’s Medical Group in Akron
  • Copley Medical Group in Fairlawn
  • Fairlawn Internal Medicine in Fairlawn, Ohio
  • Ghent Family Practice in Akron
  • Internal Medicine Specialists in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
