Portland, Ore.-based Legacy Health System has entered into clinical co-management agreements with two cardiology groups to provide program development and leadership, according to a news article from the Lund Report.
The system has formed deals with Northwest Cardiovascular Institute and Pacific Heart Associates, both based in Portland. The Legacy Cardiovascular Services Steering Committee will be responsible for program planning and development. Hospital spokespeople say the co-management agreements will help Legacy become a regional leader in cardiac services.
