Participating physicians will be rewarded based on quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and their reduction of medical costs. They can also receive bonuses if the quality of care and cost reductions are achieved concurrently.

The ACO will initially apply to UnitedHealthcare plan members who reside in Westchester County and are covered under Oxford Health Insurance.

Westmed’s patient-centered medical home has received level 3 recognition — the highest level available — from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
