According to 9&10 News, police said they were searching for a suspect considered armed and dangerous.

The medical center’s lockdown was put in place “out of an abundance of caution” a spokesperson for MyMichigan Health told Becker’s, and lifted just before 11 a.m. CT.

Initially, medical offices, urgent care and walk-in appointments were affected, but the facility reopened.

“MyMichigan Medical Center Gladwin went on lockdown due to an active shooter situation in Beaverton,” the spokesperson said. “The lockdown has since been lifted, and we have resumed normal operations at our facilities.”
