As part of the deal, effective April 1, 10 physicians currently in Memorial Hospital’s hospitalist program will become employees of CEP America, according to the report.

Memorial Hospital and CEP America have had a relationship since 2012, when CEP America started managing, running and staffing the hospital’s emergency department. Now, with the physician group running the ER and the hospitalist programs, patient flow from ER to inpatient status will be smoother, the St. Louis Business Journal reported.
