Texas Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants is also known locally as Children’s ENT of Houston as it performs more than 15,000 hearing screens each year for newborns at two Houston hospitals, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, in addition to the Conroe (Texas) Regional Medical Center.
MEDNAX already provides perinatal services, neonatal services, pediatric cardiology and anesthesia services to The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. The acquisition will expand MEDNAX’s services at the hospital and in the greater Houston area.
The acquisition was a cash transaction, according to the statement. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
