Mid-Michigan Physicians approached McLaren Health about the transaction, as it wanted to integrate electronic health records and share human resources and purchasing services, the LSJ reported.

In addition to the group’s 70 physicians, Mid-Michigan Physicians has 30 physician assistants and nurse practitioners and employs 400 people total.
