M3 acquires The Medicus Firm

Washington, D.C.-based M3 USA, a digital healthcare solutions firm, acquired The Medicus Firm, a Dallas-based physician search firm.

The Medicus Firm, which was founded in 2009, also has offices in Atlanta. Through the acquisition it joins MDLinx and M3 Global Research in M3Group, which operates in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

"We are excited about working with the M3 team to enhance the levels of production and service we provide to healthcare organizations. The resources and support of M3 USA will enable us to continue to grow our current business and to expand into other, complimentary businesses," Jim Stone, president of The Medicus Firm, said in a statement.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but The Medicus Firm will continue to operate independently.
