The four-year program, based at Lehigh Valley Hospital—Cedar Crest, is now recruiting residents, with the first class set to begin in 2026, according to a Feb. 20 news release. The program, led by David Pryluck, MD, vice chair of radiology education and research at LVHN, is accredited to train five radiology residents per year.

The residency will provide comprehensive training across all radiology subspecialties and imaging modalities, with an emphasis on experiential learning in artificial intelligence, quality improvement, and community-based practice.

There are approximately 200 ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency programs in the U.S.

LVHN merged with Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health in August 2023, forming a 32-hospital system.
