John Muir Health, San Ramon Regional partner for outpatient center

Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health and San Ramon (Calif.) Regional Medical Center have together opened the new Pleasanton (Calif.) Outpatient Center, which offers residents of the Tri-Valley community primary care, pediatric care, specialty care and urgent services.

John Muir Health and San Ramon Regional Medical Center completed a joint venture partnership in 2013, in which John Muir acquired 49 percent ownership interest in San Ramon. Under the partnership, the two healthcare providers are jointly developing outpatient services, including the Pleasanton Outpatient Center and other projects in the Tri-Valley area.

Pleasanton Outpatient Center will also offer imaging services, lab services, care coordination for people with chronic conditions, senior services and wellness services. Patients who visit the Pleasanton Outpatient Center can also access online tools through MyJohnMuirHealth to message their John Muir Health physicians, schedule appointments, view lab results, request prescription renewals and schedule eVisits.
