With SHIFT, job seekers receive a text message when their preferences match a position. The pilot version of the tool launched last Friday with more than 3,000 opportunities, according to Health eCareers.
The app is dedicated to temporary healthcare work, so it simplifies the hiring process for these type of positions, according to Health eCareers Managing Director Bryan Bassett.
“Healthcare facilities are feeling the pinch of employee shortages and churn, and that’s coincided with the number of healthcare professionals embracing the flexibility and freedom of temporary work, leading to an unprecedented number of short-term positions in the market,” he said in a statement.
