The group will bring Froedtert Health’s physicians into an integrated practice model, which will be connected to MCW physicians through shared quality and service standards. The group’s physicians will treat patients in both organizations’ community clinics.

“To the benefit of our patients, we will be able to clinically integrate, sharing the same electronic health record and evidence-based medical protocols plus access to academic medical center expertise,” John Raymond, Sr., MD, president and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin, said in a news release.

Mark Lodes, MD, has been named president of the new group. He is currently the CMO of Froedtert & The Medical College Clinical Ventures Group. An eight-person board of directors, which will oversee the new physician practice, will be appointed soon.
