Envision Healthcare rebrands physician services

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Envision Healthcare Corp. renamed its multispecialty physician group as Envision Physician Services.

Here are three things to know.  

1. Envision Physician Services includes the former EmCare and Sheridan Healthcare physician services divisions of Envision Healthcare Holdings and Nashville, Tenn.-based Amsurg Corp. The companies merged in December to create a healthcare services company worth $10 billion.

2. The physician services business serves more than 45 states and the District of Columbia.

3. Envision Physician Services has more than 23,000 providers.
