“We are proud to welcome these physicians to our talented DuPage Medical Group team,” DMG COO Dennis Fine said. “Like DMG, these doctors are committed to providing quality care and advocacy for patients throughout the western suburbs.”
The group bills itself as the largest independent, multispecialty physician group in the Chicago area, and it continues to grow. In its 20 years of existence, the group has grown from eight physicians to about 600, and it has plans to add at least 150 more by the end of 2017, according to DuPage Medical Group President Paul Merrick, MD.
The six physicians welcomed to the group Tuesday include:
- Neha Balmoori, MD, hospitalist
- Brett Segel, MD, hospitalist
- Gladys Velasquez, MD, hospitalist
- Amy Shah, DO, hospitalist
- Michelle Lee, MD, plastic surgeon
- Andre Ivy, MD, orthopedic surgeon
