Serving thousands of Orlando-area residents, the 13 providers and 70 team members at Family Health Care of Central Florida will now join DaVita’s JSA Medical Group. This medical group takes what it calls a “Total Care” approach to delivering services — one in which care is coordinated between providers, specialists and other professional staff.
“This transaction demonstrates our commitment to expanding our presence in the Orlando metro area and continuing to grow the leading independent medical group in America,” Joe Mello, COO of DaVita’s HealthCare Partners division, said in a statement. “We’re proud to have such a prominent medical group join the DaVita Village, and together we’re looking forward to expanding our high-quality, coordinated care services for this community.”
