Beginning this year, CUNY will integrate a number of master’s degree, advanced certificate and dual BS-MS programs to its curriculum. This fall, the university will accept the inaugural class of students for its MS in nursing education program, its dual BS-MS in nursing education program, its MS in nursing organizational leadership program and its dual BS-MS in nursing organizational leadership online degree program.

“The complex, evolving healthcare system highlights the critical contributions needed from nurses to provide quality and safety in healthcare,” said Margaret Reilly, PhD, CUNY’s academic director of nursing. “Advanced education prepares nurses with the skills to promote health, lead change and enhance quality care in various roles and settings.”
