The 13-physician Toccoa Clinic also has locations outside of Toccoa in Lavonia, Demorest, Clarkesville and Clayton, Ga. The group will join Northeast Georgia Physicians Group’s ranks of more than 250 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives and other clinical staff.

“We’ve spent over a year making sure NGPG is the best fit for our patients, our practice and our community,” David Yates, MD, president of Toccoa Clinic, said in a statement. “We’re proud to say that joining NGPG gives us the resources to continue providing the best quality care for our community — the same high-quality care Toccoa Clinic has built its reputation on since 1946.”

Under the merger, Toccoa Clinic will now accept the same insurance plans as NGPG.
