ZDoggMD drops new track called ‘In Da Lab’

A couple months after ZDoggMD’s breakout hit “EHR State of Mind,” the hospitalist-turned-rapper has released a new song, this time parodying 50 Cent’s “In Da Club.”

ZDoggMD’s “In Da Lab” spoofs a day in a hospital lab, including spilling blood samples and issues that arise when samples are mislabeled.

ZDoggMD, or Zubin Damania, MD, started parodying famous songs in a healthcare context after seeking more creativity in his career. His other songs include “Ain’t the Way to Die” and “Readmission.”

At Becker's 4th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable, taking place November 2–5 in Chicago, more than 1,500 hospital and health system executives tackle decisions that determine whether organizations thrive or merely survive: protecting margins under cost pressure, choosing where to grow, renegotiating payer relationships, stabilizing the workforce and proving real ROI on technology. This is where leaders work through them together, face-to-face. Apply for complimentary registration now.
