Wisconsin Governor to Sign Funding Bill for Critical Access Hospitals

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle is expected to sign a bill to help critical access hospitals leverage federal funds and other resources, according to a report by the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen.

Assembly Bill 770 makes an assessment on critical access hospitals, provides payments to them, creates a rural physician residency assistance program and sets up loan assistance programs for physicians and other providers.
