Three things to know:
1. CEO Kim Miller, RN, reported for her last day March 18, according to the Daily Citizen. In a statement to the publication, the chairman of the hospital’s board of directors said that the hospital no longer needs a CEO following the proposed affiliation.
“We greatly appreciate Kim’s leadership, which has effectively positioned the organization for ongoing success,” the hospital chairman said. “During her more than 12 years as CEO, Kim effectively led the organization through a significant transformation, taking a community hospital and building a true health system that has expanded access to healthcare in our region,” the statement read.
2. Beaver Dam Community Hospitals and Marshfield signed a definitive agreement to affiliate last summer.
3. Ms. Miller was named CEO of the hospital in 2006.
