Gizmodo — a tech blog — unleashed a story in early May, which cited former Facebook employees saying they were told to suppress conservative news from the social network’s “trending” news section.
Findings from Breitbart support Gizmodo’s story. The site used data from the Federal Election Committee to prove that during this election season, Facebook employees donated the most — $114,000 — to Hillary Clinton.
According to The Hill, a total of 78 Facebook employees donated to Ms. Clinton. Tom Stocky, who leads the “trending” topics section at Facebook, was Ms. Clinton’s top donor with his gift of $2,700.
Marco Rubio came in at the No. 2 recipient spot, garnering a meager $16,604 from Facebook workers.
